ASVAB PreparatoryIf you're serious about joining the military, then get serious about the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB). Passing the ASVAB is required prior to acceptance for enlistment. Your scores on this test determine which field the service will place you in. This course prepares students for the most common and misunderstood areas of the test. This is a great course to prepare those students who have not tested yet and for those who need to retest.
2 Hour Course: Mathematic concepts, Formulas, Algebra refresher, Fractions
Boater Safety CourseThis course is designed to meet the new Washington State requirement that all boaters in Washington become certified. This eight hour course, which includes the certification exam, will cover everything you need to know regarding boater safety.
Our instructors actively work in the field of marine services and they are certified to teach a course approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators and the Washington State Parks Department.
Washington State’s new law says, “Beginning Jan. 1, 2008, boat operator’s ages 12 to 20 years old will be required to carry a boater education card when operating a motorboat of 15 horsepower or greater on Washington’s waterways. The card requirement applies to boaters born on or after Jan. 1, 1955, and will be phased in through 2014. Boaters born before Jan. 1, 1955 are exempt from this law.” The Boater Education Card is good for a lifetime and there is only a $5 replacement fee.
Boaters are encouraged to take a class as soon as possible, and not wait until they are required by law to have the training.
WA Adult Driving CourseThis course is designed for adult drivers who would like some extra practice behind-the-wheel and would like a refresher course covering rules of the road. This course includes: 30 hours in class, 4 hours of driving with a police officer, and 4 hours of driving observation.
Defensive Driving: Level TwoThis course is a continuation of the material presented in LEVEL ONE with an emphasis on aggressive driving, racing, driving attitudes and alcohol related incidents and takes the contemporary driver further into details about the latest changes in "the rules of the road", "safe driving tips" and in handling "emergency situations."
Defensive Driving: Level OneAlso called a "Basic Driver Improvement" course, the LEVEL ONE class is designed to improve the driver's knowledge and understanding of traffic laws as well as safe driving techniques and strategies to equip today's experienced driver with up-to-date information on improving driver and occupant safety. The course also qualifies for some auto insurance discounts and employer's fleet training programs.
Driving AssessmentClient will work one-on-one with an instructor who will gauge the client's driving abilities. In this educational experience, the instructor will give feedback on breaking bad habits, ideas on how to adapt to any physical limitations and assess safety concerns.
