WA Teen Drivers Safety Education & Certification (Advanced)

Advanced Course- Recommended for the driver needing a little more practice.

  • 7 hours of driving
  • 7 hours of driving observation
Private Drives

Client will work one-on-one with an instructor in our vehicle. Clients can customize private drives to meet their goals.

WA Adult Driving Course

This course is designed for adult drivers who would like some extra practice behind-the-wheel and would like a refresher course covering rules of the road. Spend time with an instructor, who will show you how to make better decisions while driving and review the basic rules of the road. This course includes: 30 hours in class, 4 hours of driving with a police officer, and 4 hours of driving observation.

WA Adult Driving Course Pick-Up/Drop Off Service

Pick-Up location must be within 5 miles/10 minutes from our office.  Additional distance or travel time will be deducted from your lesson. 

Use of our vehicle for DOL testing will be available upon approval from an instructor.  Lessons will take place in one of our automatic transmission vehicles. All of our instruction vehicles are equipped with dual brakes and instructor mirrors. Due to insurance liabilities, instructor must approve students to use their personal vehicle.

WA Adult Driving Course Hourly Lessons

Single hourly rates are available for general assessment purposes.

911 Driving School Examination Policies
1. The fee for the Knowledge exam is $19.95
2. The fee for the Skills exam is $39.95
3. The fee for using the school’s training vehicle for the exam is $10.00
4. Retake of the Knowledge exam is $0
5. Retake of the Skills exam is $39.95
6. The Knowledge exam consists of 25 multiple-choice questions about traffic safety laws.
Applicants must answer at least 20 questions correctly to pass the exam.
7. The Skills exam will test the applicant’s ability to drive legally and safely. Applicants must pass
the Skills exam with a score of at least 80%
8. Your exam scores will be entered into the DOL database within 24 hours. You will have to
visit the DOL office to apply for your license. Passing the Knowledge and Skills test does not
guarantee that an applicant will be issued a driver’s license. The Department of Licensing will
determine if an applicant has met all licensing requirements. If you are under the age of 18 you
must be at least 16 years old, have successfully completed a traffic safety education course,
have had your permit for at least 6 months and have had 50 hours driving experience with at
least 10 night driving hours to apply for your license.
9. The Department of Licensing reserves the right to conduct random re-examinations; applicants
refusing to take a re-examination may have their license revoked.
10. No refunds will be given unless an appointment is canceled 24 hours in advance. No refunds
will be given once a test has started.
11. There is no minimum time requirement between tests; however, subsequent tests are subject to
availability. Subsequent tests will be on different routes.
12. Our grievance/complaint policy consists of the following: An owner or manager will review
the test within 24 hours. Math errors will be corrected either way to pass or fail an applicant.
Decisions made by the examiners will not be overturned, however at our sole discretion an
additional test may be provided at no charge if they believe there’s some question as to the
validity of the score. This will occur within 48 hours of the prior test.
13. We reserve the right to refuse services to anyone.
14. If you received a letter from DOL to take an examination due to a physical, mental, visual or any
other medical issue, you must test at a DOL office. Failure to disclose this information prior to
testing will result in your test not being honored at DOL to obtain your license and we will not
refund the test fee.
15. Your car must be legal to operate on public streets. This includes, but is not limited to:
windshield, seat belts, wipers, defroster, tires, mirrors, all brake and reverse lights, turn signals,
and current tabs.
16. You will need to demonstrate arm signals prior to beginning the skills test.
17. Pursuant to RCW 46.20.720, a driver convicted of an alcohol offense may be required to have
an Ignition Interlock Device (IID) in order to drive. The applicant must take the Skills exam in
their vehicle using the IID.
18. Applicants wishing to use their own vehicle for the Skills exam are required to show proof of
insurance and current registration (tabs) on the day of the test.
19. At the time of the test, the applicant must provide proof of identification such as a photo permit,
out of state license, or school year book and possess a current instructional permit or valid
foreign license. If you do not have an instructional permit or valid foreign license we will issue
you a temporary authorization to take the test.
20. Skills tests canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged a $25 fee.
21. All school vehicles are equipped with cameras and may record all tests. The videos are for
safety and training purposes only, and are not available for customer review. Images will not be
used for any type of public use.
