South Carolina Road Skills Testing
Student will complete the Road Skills Testing with a Certified South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles Safety Officer, who is also a Certified Driving Instructor at 911.
Upon completion and passing of the Road Skills Test the student will be given all necessary paperwork to take to any DMV Branch Office to receive their South Carolina Driver’s License.
Student must be brought to the Driving School to take the Road Test, as the test begins at the Driving School.
No more waiting in long lines at the DMV to take the Road Skills Test.
Student will use our vehicle to complete the Road Skills Test.
Students 15 or 16 years old must bring their completed Form PDLA.
Student under the age of 18 years old must bring a parent or legal guardian to complete the required paperwork

ASVAB Preparatory
If you’re serious about joining the military, then get serious about the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB). Passing the ASVAB is required prior to acceptance for enlistment. Your scores on this test determine which field the service will place you in. This course prepares students for the most common and misunderstood areas of the test. This is a great course to prepare those students who have not tested yet and for those who need to retest.

Driving Instructor Certification Course (40 hours)
South Carolina Driving Instructor Requirements: (South Carolina Automobile
Driver Training School Regulations 90-167; Instructor Qualifications)
1. Be at least 21 years of age;
2. Of Good Moral Character;
3. Hold a valid South Carolina Driver’s License;
4. Have no record of suspension pf driving privileges for moving violations
for three (3) years;
5. Have at least 5 years and no suspension for three (3) years;
6. Successfully complete a Departmentally approved driver training
instructor course which includes as a minimum of thirty-four (34) hours of
formal classroom instruction in driver education and a minimum of six (6)
hours of actual behind the wheel training in driving instruction
7. Successfully complete a Departmentally approved written test which
includes as a minimum testing of the ability of the applicant to give driver
instruction to others and/or both written and demonstrative methods.
This course is for individuals who wish to become Driving Instructors in
South Carolina. This course fulfills requirement 6 (above) of the South
Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles for new commercial driving school
instructors. This course is 40 hours in length and consists of 34 hours in
the classroom and 6 hours behind the wheel. Students will learn Classroom
Management, Fundamental Concepts of Teaching, Driving Skills in the
classroom and behind the wheel. Upon completion of this course students will
meet the training requirement for Instructor Certification in South
Carolina. Completion of this course in no way, written or implied, an offer
or guarantee of employment at 911 Driving School. Upon completion of this
course students MUST pass a written test at the South Carolina Department of
Motor Vehicles and meet ALL remaining qualifications set forth by the South
Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles.
Private Drives
Client will work one-on-one with an instructor in our vehicle. Clients can customize private drives to meet their goals.
South Carolina Coaching the Mature Driver – 8 Hour Course
This 8 hour course is designed for ages 55 and older and may qualify you for an insurance discount (check with your agent).
AAA Mature Driver Course (8 Hour)
AAA Driver Improvement Program: 911 Driving School has teamed up with AAA to offer a couple of options for experienced drivers to improve their knowledge and understanding of traffic laws. This course is great for drivers who have received a traffic infraction or are looking for insurance discounts and can benefit from attending a day of traffic school. This course is 8 hours. AAA members receive a discount.
South Carolina Defensive Driving – 8 Hour Course
911 Driving Schools offer a couple of options for experienced drivers to improve their knowledge and understanding of local traffic laws. This course is great for drivers who have received a traffic infraction or are looking for insurance discounts, and can benefit from attending a day of traffic school. This course qualifies for a 4 point reduction on your South Carolina driving record and complies with traffic court requirements.
AAA Defensive Driving Classes (Traffic School)
AAA Driver Improvement Program: 911 Driving School has teamed up with AAA to offer a couple of options for experienced drivers to improve their knowledge and understanding of traffic laws. This course is great for drivers who have received a traffic infraction or are looking for insurance discounts and can benefit from attending a day of traffic school. This course is 8 hours. AAA members receive a discount on the course fee.
Driving Assessment
Client will work one-on-one with an instructor who will gauge the client’s driving abilities. In this educational experience, the instructor will give feedback on breaking bad habits, ideas on how to adapt to any physical limitations and assess safety concerns.
